A scarce hardcover edition of William Goldman's classic fantasy story "The Princess Bride" from 1973. This particular book is NOT the first printing/first edition (it doesn't state first edition on the copyright page; there's no number line on the copyright page; there's also no price listed on the inner flap of dust jacket). Adapted into a movie by Rob Reiner in 1987.
Dust jacket in good condition with a fair amount of wear and tear throughout the jacket, especially along the edges with general wear and fading.
Book in good condition overall with a bit of wear, tear, blemish to the covers and spine. Some blemish/discoloration to the top and bottom outer edges of pages. Yellowing to the pages. A bit of slant to the spine. A blemish/discoloration mark on pages 3-4. There's a small hole through the top of page 81. There's also a small hole through the top of pages 305-306.
