This appears to be the 1968 hardcover edition issued by Ballantine Books (preceded by the 1967 first edition from Houghton Mifflin Company). The Ballantine edition was issued without a dust jacket, so it's possible that someone paired the first edition dust jacket with the 1968 book, although I'm not entirely sure.
A compelling and unique book from Tolkien. The poems are from his Middle Earth writings, primarily from "The Lord of the Rings." Donald Swann wrote sheet music to accompany these poems. Elvish script is included throughout the book as well from Tolkien.
Dust jacket in good condition overall with some wear, tear, blemish throughout, including some discoloration on the front of the jacket and a couple tears to the back of jacket/outer spine.
Book in good condition overall with a bit of wear and tear to the covers and spine. Slight curve to the book. Yellowing to the pages. Blue circular sticker on the second page.
