Rather than attempt to discuss an entire book in one go, book clubs at Paper Portal meet once a week for four or five weeks in a row. This allows the small group (usually 4-7 people) to build some camaraderie as they explore the novel together and build on previous discussions.

These book clubs are about conversation, exploring characters/ideas/themes, and mutual enjoyment of reading — not about “getting the right answer.” Bring your questions, your interpretations, your likes, critiques, and kernels of inspiration!
